Boho-Western Hotel Style Guide

Howdy Fringe Lovers!  Looking for a getaway with some Boho-Western Flair? We've got you covered, check out some of my favorites from Marfa, Texas to Mexico City. Here are my favorite Boho Western inspired hotels and airbnb getaways.  I love the style of these destinations because they exhibit the perfect combo of Rustic Modern and Boho Chic with enough of a Western Flair for me to wanna hang my hat at!  I've had the pleasure of visiting some of these hotels and a few I hope to visit in the near future!  And even If I can't getaway as soon as I'd like to there are some great design ideas that I'd love to add to my current design situation!  I hope you enjoy and get some travel or design inspo!  Love, Lasso

I absolutely love the simple rustic vibe of the San Giorgio, which employs a "less is more" aesthetic and approach. The hotel has a light and airy feel yet the carefully chosen textiles and rustic accessories add a sense of warmth and heritage to the crisp and white architecture.  Book here...

BOHO WESTERN HOTEL STYLE // LASSO ABODE

Okay so I am completely obsessed with Urban Cowboy BnB's which are located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and Nashville.  I lived in Williamsburg from the late '90s to 2013 way before the neighborhood had hotels or even a movie theatre!   The Brooklyn location opened in 2014, so I had just missed it because I ventured out west and moved to Los Angeles.  But let me just say this  Mid-Western gal is looking forward to visiting her old stomping ground and this is on my list of destinations!  Book here...

I have a confession, I've never been to Texas.  I KNOW!  It's quite shocking that the owner of such a Boho-Western brand has never been to Texas.  I grew up in Missouri, so I got the Western cred but I do feel a pull toward Texas and Marfa is at the top of my list!  Love this upscale compound that was built in 2006 and definitely exhibits the Minimal Marfa vibe.  Book here...

Oh Joshua Tree, I miss you!  Joshua Tree has become my home away from Los Angeles.  I had a lovely birthday weekend last August staying at The Casita and hanging with the owners Sarah and Rich Combs.  The Casita is magical.  I feel like I am on another planet when I am in Joshua Tree and The Casita has an inviting sense of home.  The owners curated The Casita with many local artists and designers such as Aleksandra Zee, Bkb Ceramics and yours truly Lasso Abode, our fringed pillows live happily in the bedrooms.  Highly recommend this Airbnb.  Book here...

The mix of color and textiles makes my heart sing!  I would love to chill in this room all day.

Mexico City is definitely on my travel plans.  I've actually added this to my Vision Board for 2017 (remember the last post).  Seems like everyone I know is heading to Mexico City and I can not wait to visit!  Chaya BnB is an indoor / outdoor hotel located in the heart of Mexico City.  The building is decked out with with two restaurants, a yoga studio, ice cream parlor, tattoo shop and hair salon!  Book here...
